Statement of Belief:
We believe that the Bible is our only rule of faith and practice. We believe that when the Bible is understood in context and revealed by the Holy Spirit, it is our all-sufficient answer to why we are here, how we are to live while we are here and where we will go when we leave here.
We believe that the Bible can be viewed from either of two perspectives: egocentrically (self is the focus) or theocentrically (God is the focus). When the approach is egocentric, the Bible becomes an impossible "job description" up to which no human can live. When the approach is theocentric, the Bible becomes the unique source of good news about what God has done for us (Saving Grace) and what He wants to do in and through us (Living Grace).
